ACC's Wireless Broadband Division announces a Partnership with Brookdale Community College.

Atlantic Coast Communications Inc. is pleased to announce a partnership with Brookdale Community College to develop Wireless Communications programs. The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a 3-year, $604,000 grant to fund this project.

Mike Schmidt, founder and President of ACC, working closely with Brookdale Engineering and Technology faculty member Mike Qaissaunee, was instrumental in developing the proposal to develop these programs.

ACC is an ardent supporter of the college and has been an advocate of higher education within the community and state throughout its 25-year history. Therefore, launching this new Wireless Broadband venture at an educational institution, such as BCC, is a logical beginning.

ACC plans to extend this technology to other college campuses, as well as public and private enterprises.
