To address the telecommunication needs of transportation and utility organizations, specifically those of mass transportation, natural gas and water purification and distribution companies, we have worked with these organizations to conceive, design, and construct a number of telecommunications systems ranging from remote telemeter systems to simulcast multimode mobile data transmission systems.

These collaborations have resulted in a few industry firsts:
  • ACC was the first non-Bell operating company to operate point-to-point, multi-band microwave services across Sandy Hook and Raritan Bay, 1983

  • ACC was the first nationally recognized organization to implement spectral efficient trunking technologies on frequencies below 800 MHZ, 1986

  • ACC developed the first fully operational mobile data system for a New Jersey gas utility, 1991

  • ACC developed the New Jersey Natural Gas Field Order Dispatching System (FODS), October 1992

  • ACC designed and implemented the first Simulcast Loop Corrected Mobile Relay System in New Jersey for New Jersey Transit and Gannet Publications, 1996
